Earning Online - Why You Need A Blog

I was recently asked how I bring traffic to my blog. The simple answer for me is social networking. I use sites like MyLot and Yuwie to meet people with similar interests and share with them what I'm doing to earn, and consequently, learn what they are doing. The best part is that you are paid on these sites for socializing, so that makes you certain that they are interested to earn online. Another suggestion is to use a Squidoo lens for promoting your programs if you do not have a blog. Squidoo allows you to write about anything you are knowledgeable about. Squidoo then helps promote the lens and gives you a passive income from anything purchased from the lens and also the number of page views you have. One of the most important aspects of a blog, lens or space, is keeping people up to date and informed on your area of specialty. For those of you that are online earning right now, but do not have a blog, lens, etc, you are signing your own fate. Blogs are very easy to create and even easier to maintain. You can even use sites like Yuwie and Squidoo to promote your programs rather than a blog. But remember, without offering something of quality, you will not maintain a loyal and consistent readership.

Another way I drive traffic to this blog is by using LinkReferral. It is another great way to find new opportunities as promote your site.

Now, some blogs and lenses do not allow you to use simple traffic generators to your site. That is why I use the above techniques. However, there are ways around this. Each suggestion I make is not violating the rules of any associated site.

Yuwie

I have discovered a new love for the Yuwie website. Many of you are likely familiar with it, but I will give a brief overview.

It is a site that you use for socializing and networking, similar to facebook or myspace. The deal is that you get paid for page views to your page. Plus, you are paid for anything your referrals do for ten levels deep. The amount of referral bonus depends on the tier with tier ten being 30%. However, even if you put a lot of work into the site you would be lucky to earn 50 cents in a month. And only a rare few have made any substantial money from the site. But keep reading.




The site has a wonderful feature, people are actually coming to look at your page. So although they are not actively looking, some do. Especially new members who aren't familiar with the system and are roaming around. So it works more as a great networking tool for other programs.

Make sure you pick a template that is easy to see and not offensive to anyone. Also, you would prefer a template which allows you to put your advertising near the top so they see it.

It's a nice idea to comment on new users page and welcome them. While learning the site, it's the same as I mentioned above, they are looking around to learn the system. All the while reading information.

Yuwie - want referrals?

Yuwie is a social networking site. It's not terribly difficult to use. In fact, it is simliar to myspace and facebook. The difference is, you are paid to do your socializing. This is not the best paying site online. I have made just over $.50 in a matter of 3 months. So why am I promoting it right now? Well, I think the key to Yuwie lies in the downline. Yuwie allows you to earn money from 10 levels down. The further down the level, the more it seems you earn, especially around the 8th level.

What I am offering to do for you is if you are not currently a member of Yuwie, if you join under me, I will post your referral link on my blog until you have a referral under you. Once you have one, I will rotate the link until another person joins. I will continue doing this and will never use my link again. This way, I can help develop my downline and also help people who want to join. What if I run out of links? I will start the process all over again.

Yuwie

I keep wanting to submit my new entry, but other pertinent issues keep arising. Today's issue? Yuwie links. Yuwie has changed their referral link. This happened a few weeks back, but I think it mainly went unnoticed. I know I forgot to tell my referrals on it. Also, a user on moola was looking to join and had no luck with anyone's referral link because everyone had the old link up.

Tip of the day: Bookmark all your gpt and ptc sites into folders. I just go down the list of my PTC (Paid To Click) sites and am done them early in the day because I keep them organized.
