Converting Traffic

Recently on Twitter I was asked about Converting Traffic. Not just converting traffic, but what to do if your site is not selling your products like you think it should be. Or maybe you are having troubles getting people to sign up to your opt in list. There could many different reasons for converting traffic, but we all want the same thing RESULTS.

In my newest squidoo lens I discuss a few different ways to optimize your site to make sure you are capturing all your leads. It could be just changing the opt in form from the top right corner to the mid left side of your web page, but there are ways to test this and monitor it.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Want to learn exactly what is affiliate marketing? I have been emailed many times in the past few months with that exact question... What is affiliate marketing?

I decided to create a Squidoo Lens dedicated to it. The wonderful thing about posting on Squidoo is that it gets indexed very quickly with a huge PR boost. Plus by blogging about it on sites like my personal blog here, it gives it even more of a boost.

Dale and I are in the middle of creating our main website to help Affiliate Marketers both new and experienced marketers. So until that site is up, I'm going to continue to keep building my Squidoo profile with SEO perfected articles with keyword density that insures I receive many keyword targeted site visitors to the lenses.

So, ya, go visit my What is Affiliate Marketing lens. lol

Earning Online - Why You Need A Blog

I was recently asked how I bring traffic to my blog. The simple answer for me is social networking. I use sites like MyLot and Yuwie to meet people with similar interests and share with them what I'm doing to earn, and consequently, learn what they are doing. The best part is that you are paid on these sites for socializing, so that makes you certain that they are interested to earn online. Here is a sample of my MyLot homepage here; this is my Yuwie profile here. You can see how these sites act as a place to advertise. I have my blog listed in both of these places so people that visit my page can find out more about me if I've interested them somehow. To join MyLot click here. To join Yuwie, click here.

Another suggestion is to use a Squidoo lens for promoting your programs if you do not have a blog. Squidoo allows you to write about anything you are knowledgeable about. Squidoo then helps promote the lens and gives you a passive income from anything purchased from the lens and also the number of page views you have. It is another place that is good to use as a home base for promoting your programs. To join Squidoo, please click here. Here are my Squidoo lenses.

One of the most important aspects of a blog, lens or space, is keeping people up to date and informed on your area of specialty. For those of you that are online earning right now, but do not have a blog, lens, etc, you are signing your own fate. Blogs are very easy to create and even easier to maintain. You can even use sites like Yuwie and Squidoo to promote your programs rather than a blog. But remember, without offering something of quality, you will not maintain a loyal and consistent readership.

Another way I drive traffic to this blog is by using LinkReferral. It is another great way to find new opportunities as promote your site.

Now, some blogs and lenses do not allow you to use simple traffic generators to your site. That is why I use the above techniques. However, there are ways around this. Each suggestion I make is not violating the rules of any associated site.

This is the first post in a series, that will be used to help teach people how to create more earnings with their blog, site or individual program with different techniques.

The working dillema

Well, I have to say that work is taking its toll on this blog. And really, I should have foreseen it. When I have spare time, it's spent with my two little boys. And the other spare time I spend with my hubby.

I have been participating in the sites, but not making time to post.

You can see that bux.to is really taking off. I'm having real success with this program. As well as a few other new sites I joined, dailyclicks and icashout.... sadly, both of which are currently down, but by the time you are reading this, it's back online. Dailyclicks honestly has at least 30 clicks each day. And Icashout has at least 10 worth 1.5 cents, but is a terribly slow site, I hope they fix it. And lastly, Clix4Coins. I love the simple concept, only 4 clicks a day, but at least 2 cents each.

Please, if you are interested in any of the programs mentioned on this blog, simply click their name and it will take you directly to their site where you can join.

Lastly, I'm proud to say that I have started earning on Squidoo. I created a lens called Become a Baby Whisperer Mom . If doing something like Squidoo would interest you, please join here. You simply write about something you know about. Then you need to try and generate traffic there, but google is also involved and helps promote your lens. Plus they list products, and if someone buys something, you earn a commission. I'm sure each of you has something they could contribute.

Please bare with me as my blog slows down for a bit. If things get calmer, I will certainly be on more.
