the Paid to Click Industry Woes

It seems almost every PTC or Paid To Click Site is having a difficult time right now. Many have been forced to stop using paypal and others have had to close down completely. I have tried to keep up to date, but it's really difficult to figure out who to believe.

On one hand, if a site is a legitimate business, why would PayPal freeze their account? Why would PayPal not allow them to access even their own funds that are sitting in PayPal accounts? The reason I have been told is that the entire GPT or Get Paid To industry is under scrutiny. Many do not believe it's a legitimate business, or they believe that these sites are deceitful. Another reason that has been offered is the multi level marketing that is offered on many of these sites.

I'm sure most of you know that the GPT industry is alive and well and does not border on illegal. All activities on reputable sites are honest, legal and legitimate. they are not breaking any laws. They offer a service to companies and us, the users or members, are paid to provide these services.

What does all this mean? To be honest, I don't really know. I would love to say that the honest sites will be around forever, but at this rate, who really knows? I know that the reputable sites that have all their "ducks in a row" are continuing business as usual. Even sites like DailyClicks, who I recently called a scam site, have reopened their doors, reestablishing their user's accounts and are they are ready to pay.... however, you are limited in payment options.

I am taking Just-Click right off the list as they just announced they are closing. I am taking DialyClicks off my scam list because of their dedication to fixing all the PayPal problems.

Like everything in life, it's good to have a fair amount of skepticism with everything you do. I am a member of many different sites and aware of the risks associated with earning online. This is why it's important that we communicate in the GPT world and let others know of our experiences. If you are a cautious person and want to avoid the possibility of any risk, stick with sites like Moola and SwatCash. Although they may take a long time to reply to emails, etc, they always pay. Or sites that have many pictures of payments received.

My First Cashout on Bux.to

You read right, I cashed out $10.00 on bux.to. It's my first time making payout on this site so I'm really excited to get that added to my proof of payment. Not to mention that I'll enjoy the 10 bucks!

I'm not sure why I avoided bux.to when I first started ptc (paid to click) sites. I regret not joining sooner. It is only the second ptc site I have reached payout on. aPairOf was the other, but that's because the site has a $1 paypal minimum to cashout. It doesn't take long to reach $1.

I have read a lot about bux.to being a potential scam, but someone on myLot recently suggested that they get behind in payments, but then make all the payments at once and everyone still gets paid. I guess this will be a true test to see if it's a scam. Note that the day is January 14th. Let's see how long it takes to receive payment.

If you are interested in joining bux.to, please click here. Also, if any of the sites on this blog interest you, simply click on their name to join the site. I enjoy hosting this open blog to share my experiences with others out there trying to do the same. It is possible to earn your money in an ethical manner online.

Happy New Year & Gomez

Well 2007 has come and gone and here we are on to 2008. I have a feeling 2008 will be a wonderful hear for personal growth, prosperity and health. I have to say that I brought 2008 in with a bang, acting as a labour support person for my friend. She gave birth this morning around 6:30 and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. He was, in fact, the New Year's baby for our city. What a special honour to be asked to participate in such a life changing experience. I will be forever changed.

Now, on to more general matters.

I do have some money coming this month, of course my $1000 from SwatCash, but I can't allow that win to discourage me from continuing on my path for earning online. I also have $5 coming from MyCashHoney, although I should have requested to cashout more, I only requested the $5. I will request the full amount for February.

The other site that I have a payment coming from is Gomez. The minimum payout there is $5 and I have over $6 in my account so they automatically cashed me out. This is my first cash payment from Gomez so I am not certain when I will find it in my paypal account, but you can be certain I will be telling all of you. In the past, I received a $5 Starbucks Gift Card from Gomez for helping them set up their online presence. People were asked to fill out a questionnaire in regards to their site and the gift card was their reward for completing the questionnaire.

Since I am receiving payment, I think it would be a nice time to review how Gomez works. Gomez is honestly the easiest program I'm involved in. You set up your account, download the program on to your pc and sit back and let the money come in. Gomez tests various site speeds for other online companies and reports to them exactly how long the pages take to load from different pcs in the world. They really require a great variety of users; dial up, high speed, different countries, etc. If you fit one of the profiles they are in need of, you then become an active member. Once active, you will earn money while you are using your pc online. Also, for each active member you refer to Gomez, you receive $2. I have never noticed my pc running any slower with Gomez installed. I was hesitant to download the program, but after receiving my giftcard, I felt confident that they were an honest company and would not do anything to jeopardize their customers.

Cashcrate

I just did two offers on this site yesterday and they approved almost instantly. For some reason, I often overlook CashCrate and I don't know why. They have many offers for all member Int'l or not.

The two offers I completed were

Free Hockey Jersey Participate in the survey. $0.40 12/18/07
Dynamic Rewards Register for free. $0.50 $0.00 12/18/07

Just use the tips I provided last week on completing offers to ensure that they approve. I'm going to be spending more time on CashCrate because they really do a great job of organizing Int'l offers. They have a lot of different ones to choose from, especially if you are using a Credit Card or paypal.

Also, payout is only $10 so it shouldn't take me very long to meet the minimum if I really start working at it.

An extra $70 earned online

So I'm up to over $460 earned online. WOW!! It was a great week. The great thing about this site is you never really have to ask "how" I made the money. With the list of sites, you can see exactly where I'm earning my money.

The thing that gave me the biggest jump was the $50 Gift Card for Best Buy that I won on SwatCash yesterday. All I had to do was type the word "and". It was that simple. I'm still a bit in shock that I won because I had to miss so many contests over the 12 days, but I did get a win.

The other place that I have been really able to earn is MyCashHoney. The little trivia questions are easy and have really helped boost my $. I asked for a $5 paypal cashout, so I will tell you in the future if they honour my request. I believe I asked 3 days ago now and still no word about it. This is a brand new site that is growing and there is already a lot going on.

I did "buy" a referral from the site and they didn't do a thing. If you are debating about whether to purchase referrals or cashout with your honey bees..... definitely cashout.

iCashOut

Perhaps the next best PTC site? I have no idea how this site has eluded me for so long. I found it on GetRef and am very pleased that I did. 1.5 cents per click and on my first day I 8 sites for a total of 12 cents. It pays a bit less than my favourite Clix4Coins, but it has more ads. The other great part is that you receive 1.5 cents for each referral click!!!! Amazing!

Cashout is via Paypal if you have achieved a minimum balance of $10.
