There is a new trend emerging in the Traffic Site world. If you are unfamiliar with traffic sites they can be used to drive traffic to different sites. They are great for bumping your Alexa rating if you are a blogger (But do not do this if you have adsense, use BidVertiser. You can also use Traffic Sites to display programs you are trying to promote or drive traffic to a page that would bring you money for views. Many people also create splash pages and use these in traffic exchanges because they catch a viewers eye.
Most of these sites require you to click after the specific time has elapsed (10 seconds for example). You may have to click on a number or icon to confirm you did in fact view the website. However, there are new sites that now allow you to simply put your mouse over the a box to confirm you viewed the site. It makes surfing that much faster!
I have only joined one site that currently has this feature. It is called Lords Of Traffic. Other great features of this site include that the site takes a long time to log you out for idleness. They provide clicking contests as well as a team competition that is currently in beta.

Blog breaks the 1,000,000 mark
Today is a great day for the blog. When I logged on to the internet and my blog popped up, it was ranked at 935,088 using the Alexa toolbar! I think when I started I was above the 3 million mark, but because of loyal readership, this continues to increase. My goal was to break 1 million and I have done it!!!! Now I need to set a new goal. I will aim for 900,000 in the next three months. I can't imagine that a simple blog like mine would ever surpass the 500,000 mark, but I'll just take each day at a time.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for the blog, please feel free to comment. Is it set up in a way that is easy to read and follow? Is information readily handy?

Updated balance
Things have been moving right along the past week. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have started back at work full time, but I have still managed to get all my clicks in. :) Some days I'm a bit slack, but so far, so good. Since I started the running total on the blog I have increased it by quite a fair amount. I'm really proud of the earnings I've made and thank all of you who read the blog and help me just by reading it. I'm now up to over $385 of online earnings!!!
I guess I'll just highlight that I've had a lot of luck lately with Clix4Coins, bux.to, SwatCash and Treasure Trooper. I have no idea anticipating what sites people will enjoy the most, but those seem to be the most recent winners. Those and Money-Website.
Also, I wanted to send an FYI that PigsPay is giving away $1 to each member that joins this month.
If you want to join any of the sites I have just mentioned, just click their name over on the left. It will take you directly to their site and you can join.
Last, but certainly not least, I'd like to share my pleasure with my Alexa ranking. I guess the spider finally crawled my blog and boosted me up into the 2 millions. It still seems pretty sad, but I'll take a 1 million jump any day. I guess it gives me something to look forward to.

How to thank a blogger
This post is a little different than my usual reviews of paying sites, but trust me, it's all related. The reason it's related is because people get paid for blogging. They may not get paid for the blog entries, but they can be paid by the ads they are showing. For instance, on my site I use a company that must remain anonymous or else I will violate their terms of service. What happens is, when you click an ad, I am awarded money for displaying their ad. At the present moment I have earned $12.40 since I began using this service about 4 months ago. As you can see, it's not the most lucrative endeavour, but it all helps.
Another item bloggers rely on is the visibility of their site. For instance, Alexa rates sites based on different items. The higher the Alexa rating, the more visible the site is. As you can see by my Alexa bar on the left side of the site (a bit further down) I'm not doing so well. I'm ranked over 3 million! LOL So I have some work to do. You can download the Alexa toolbar here.
I have been doing different things to improve my Alexa rating and my rating on other schemes. You will notice that I now have little buttons on the left side of my site including Technorati, Skinny, BlogFlux, digg and del.icio.us. Those are all intended to improve my ranking and increase the visibility of my blog.
Ok, so back to where I started. How to thank a blogger? Click their buttons and their ads! It only takes a few seconds and it will help them out. Also, if you found value in their site or you learned about a new program through it, join the program. Give the person who earned your interest the respect for doing so. So what are you waiting for? Get Clicking!! LOL
