Scam Sites

I recently received a comment on one of my blog posts about a scam site. They wanted to know why I have now called DailyClicks a scam. I thought this would be a great opportunity to offer my view on scam sites.

Scam sites, as they are known in the GPT or Get Paid To industry, are sites that can be listed into a few subcategories.

- Sites that don't pay their members
- Sites that pay some of their members or a select few (so that there is proof the site paid)
- Sites that delete users accounts for no explanation

All of the outcomes are the same, there are unhappy users. To me, a scam site is not a site with bad communication. Sadly, my two best sites, moola and SwatCash, have terrible customer service and take forever at email correspondence. But in the end, they pay. It's that simple. As long as they pay, then I'm ok with bad email etiquette.

Scam Lists

I'm sure most of you have seen the Scam Lists. And I bet many of you have seen blogs with "Scam Lists" that they copy and pasted from a website without proper permission. Those lists are often not personally correlated, so then again, we are relying on another person's word and not the trusted writer of the blog.

Now, don't get me wrong. I use scam lists. But, I don't just read that it's a scam, I read the reason it has been labeled a scam. I make a judgment on the information I find online. If you are curious to see scam lists, you can visit sites like gptboycott.com or marketingpond.com.

However, this is the most ironic, bloggers and online money makers claim that gptboycott.com is a scam site. So who do you trust? Just do your research.

Dailyclicks

So, why do I think DailyClicks is a scam? Well, I received an email from them saying that all of our accounts were reset to zero because of some trouble they were having with PayPal. So, there are people that have been paid by DailyClicks, but, there are many more like me who had over $6 in their account, and now it is gone. To me, that is like stealing $6. So yes, I will not be promoting this site. If in the future, they prove they have turned it around, then I would possibly consider it.
